We measured how tall he's grown on his chart. He's grown 2 1/2 inches since last year! Whoo hoo! He's 37 3/4 inches. I wanted to weigh him, but he didn't want to do that.
He helped make his own birthday cake. He held the mixer while I took a picture (the mixer was off). I'm not brave enough to let him use the mixer without help! You might think he was posing for this picture and really acting the part. Actually he was upset that I had him hold it there while I snapped some pictures. The other two pictures he has this annoyed face looking in the camera.
He was just anxious to be done with the mixing so he could lick the beaters.....the best part of making a cake!
Can you tell he enjoyed that??? 
After dinner, Grandma and Aunt Doreen came over to wish Ammon a Happy Birthday and join us for cake and ice cream.
He couldn't wait to dig into his birthday cake!
His birthday party with both sides of the family isn't for another week, so we will have more birthday fun to share later.
